About Katja
I have been teaching German for five years, but in addition, the social sciences are also close to my professional background, so I studied international studies in my undergraduate degree and this year I will be finishing my master's degree in social inclusion studies. When I'm not teaching or studying, you can probably find me in the middle of a board game party or in a nearby park with my dog. :)

In each case, I will tailor our curriculum to your needs based on what we discussed in the first lesson. We usually use a textbook as a base, which I will add additional materials to (lots of exciting videos, texts, and a little grammar). You can definitely expect that from the very beginning we will talk a lot and I will ask you a lot of questions, so your speaking skills will improve quickly. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable in my lessons, so instead of strict German, I will show you what is worth paying attention to, what sounds authentic (and what doesn't), and what are the mistakes that Germans also make. :)
