I had Jinia Ma'am as my English tutor for 4 years, till the end of school. For someone, who was never interested in the concept of learning a language, specializing in making absolutely horrendous spelling and grammatical mistakes, her classes came as a big change for me. It worked towards instilling an interest in the subject, all the while making me understand the importance of learning and correcting a language.

From the fundamentals of punctuation and grammar to constructing a dynamic essay, she would personally guide me through each of these to help me identify my mistakes and to not repeat them. Her method of teaching is very engaging and her patience with students is something that cannot be summarized in this little space. She curated personalized tasks for students based on her/his strengths and weaknesses and this is something few teachers do.

For someone, who hated studying English, I ended up writing articles, poems and even achieves scores of 323/340 and 104/120 in GRE and TOEFL, respectively since school ended. If I recollect the starting point of all of this, it would be her tiny little room in the terrace of her house, where a few of us would constantly communicate in English with this very cheerful and patient teacher because well, "This is an English tuition and no other language shall exist in this room."
