About Jocelyn rose
Hi! My name is Jocelyn Rose Lazo, but you can call me Rose. I am 26 years old and have played club AND school volleyball since I was just 6 years old and have been coaching since the summer after high school. I coached for Twisters VBC in my hometown Merced, CA throughout undergrad at UC Merced where I earned my BA in Psychology in 2021.
After years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Therapist working with children on the autism spectrum from ages of 2-13 years old, I’ve learned from experience that a solid balance of positive and negative reinforcement between a coach and a player goes a long way in terms of fast results.

One on one private lessons are a great way to fine tune your form and receive technical feedback from an experienced and detail oriented coach. In our 60 minute lesson you have the opportunity to ask any questions and receive detailed explanations and visual demonstrations you may not have time for in team practices.
