About Ethel
I am a Head Scholar, studying A-Level biology, chemistry, maths and Spanish, and I am very passionate about mentoring and tutoring. I received 9 grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE, and I am committed to helping all students reach their full academic potential, and gain confidence in themselves.
I tutor primarily in biology, chemistry and Spanish, and aim to help my students reach the top grades, while ensuring that the sessions are interactive and exciting.
Having recently completed my GCSEs with top grades, I understand exactly what exam boards are looking for and the common challenges students face, and so aim to provide guidance which all students will highly benefit from.

I am highly enthusiastic about my subjects, and create personalised plans for each of my students, in order to make my sessions as interesting, interactive and useful as possible. I use a variety of methods, including detailed explanations, and exam practice, in order to ensure my student is fully ready for what's to come, and gains confidence in the process.
I aim to create a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves academically. My goal is not only to help students achieve top grades, but to ensure they develop long-term confidence in their subjects.
