My approach as a tutor is based on breaking down difficult science concepts into simple, manageable steps so students can feel confident and supported. I focus on true understanding rather than memorization, and I adapt each session to the student’s learning style, pace, and goals. Whether you need help with one assignment or consistent support throughout the semester, I create a calm and encouraging space where questions are always welcome.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing what the student is learning in class and identifying any areas of confusion. From there, I explain the concepts clearly using examples, step-by-step problem solving, and strategies that make the content easier to grasp. Students then practice with guided questions so they can build independence. Each session ends with a short recap and a simple plan to help the student stay on track.
What sets me apart is my experience as a Chemistry Instructional Assistant, where I help university students understand course material, troubleshoot lab concepts, and develop stronger problem-solving skills. I’ve worked with many learners who struggle with organization, study strategies, or fast-paced lessons, and I’m skilled at simplifying complex ideas in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics so they finally make sense. My teaching style is patient, non-judgmental, and supportive, which helps students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material.
My lessons are ideal for Grade 9–12 students in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, as well as first-year students taking introductory chemistry courses. Whether a student wants to catch up, raise their grades, or build stronger study habits, I tailor every session to their individual needs.
