My teaching approach is tailored to each student's unique learning style, whether through interactive discussions, real-world examples, or visual aids. I believe that a strong foundation in key theories is essential for success in A-Level and GCSE exams, so I focus on building critical thinking skills alongside the curriculum.
Moreover, I aim to complete small quizzes with students to aid with their learning. This provides a form of active recall which is proven to help students achieve higher grades in their subject without having to revise for multiple hours on end.
I measure progress using exam questions and active recall. When we have finished a topic, we will recall everything that has been learnt from memory and if there are any gaps in knowledge, this is where I go over the topic again and deepen understanding using exam style questions.
