About Atharva
My name is Atharva, I'm a college student at the University of Washington (Currently on summer break). Aside from being that one friend that always helps others with their work, I spend my time trying to improve myself through learning new things. I prefer to take the role of delegation when tutoring, focusing on directing them towards the right path rather than answering for them. I often found that when I studied, I needed to go through all the steps myself, otherwise I wouldn't retain information, and the best teachers I had would just give me a push in the right direction.
I'm able to teach from elementary to high school, and also some college courses such as intro chemistry, economics, accounting, and physics. Statistics, Math, and Chemistry are my favorite to talk about and teach
A typical lesson plan includes discussing with the student any questions they are stuck on following a lesson on their subject. I try to cater it to whatever their course speed is, and focus more on making sure their fundamentals are built.
