About Kereis
I want to be a SATs tutor because I’m passionate about helping students succeed and feel confident in their abilities. I believe that mastering English skills can open doors for them in their academic journey and beyond. I enjoy creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can explore the subject, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. In my English SATs lessons, we focus on mastering the essential skills of reading comprehension, writing, and grammar. Students will develop their ability to interpret diverse texts, identify core ideas, and analyse complex themes. We also explore various writing styles—prioritising clear structure and precise expression—while reinforcing the grammar and mechanics necessary for high-quality writing. To ensure students are fully prepared, I teach proven test-taking strategies, such as effective time management and question-solving techniques, through interactive exercises and mock exams. I provide personalised worksheets tailored to each student's specific needs, alongside one-to-one feedback to track progress and build confidence. My goal is to ensure every student feels ready and empowered to achieve their best possible results.

Details
I will conduct my lessons in local libraries, providing a quiet and focused environment perfect for study. To ensure students have everything they need to succeed, I provide all necessary materials, including multiple tailored worksheets and plenty of stationery and paper. This setup allows us to dive straight into practice without any distractions.
On the first day of tutoring I would like to meet the parents or carer in person to assure that they are present and active in helping their child improve!
If a child shows up without a guardian present I will still charge for the hour and file a complaint!
