About Marine
Hello! My name is Marine and I am a first year student studying veterinary medicine. Throughout my experience working as a class assistant in a tuition centre, I have worked with a range of age ranges, from reception level to GCSE level, and so can adapt to individual needs and teaching style preferences. I love making a positive impact in students' educational journeys, and strive to make learning a fun, enjoyable experience. I have achieved a 9 in GCSE maths and an A in A level, in addition to attending a tuition centre myself for maths to go beyond the curriculum. If there is an area in the curriculum you are struggling with, I will work with you patiently and ensure you achieve understanding of that topic. We will set goals and I will work together to reach them to increase your confidence and enjoyment of the subject!

I am incredibly passionate about allowing students to reach their full potential. My lessons will last 1-2 hours long, and can be flexible around the individual student's needs. I believe that making lessons enjoyable, without stress or pressure, will ensure the best results in encouraging learning and success. As I have worked in Kumon tuition centre for 4 years, I have developed experience of explaining patiently mathematical processes, and helping children whilst keeping it a positive experience. I have a GCSE and an A level in maths, so I have a good awareness of the syllabus and specification. My lessons are aimed at GCSE level students, as well as any other secondary school age range who wishes to improve their maths skills.
