About Zara
I am currently an A level student, I really believe that one of the most important things to maintain through these several years of exams and studying, is the ability to balance your work and personal life. I achieved 9's and 8's in my GCSEs. I think being in a good space mentally thoroughly improves any contribution you make towards studying and your exams, this is why I want to help tutor people in an efficient way, sharing the best resources and advice whilst making sure that you gain or tighten your knowledge every session. I really want to do my best and help as much as I can as I know that these crucial years are very stressful and not easy. I am looking forward to being able to help and guide some of you :)

I have completed my A levels in Biology and chemistry - and achieved an A* in biology along with an A in chemistry , I received grade 9's for both in GCSEs, during my GCSEs I built up a strong amount of resources and time-efficient revision methods which allowed me to consistently keep up with revision whilst also allowing me to have time for myself. Also, after studying mark schemes and developing good exam technique I gained the space to be confident about how to tackle a variety of questions whilst maintaining good knowledge. Having observed and experienced different tutors myself, my approach to tutoring is centred around personalisation, I will be sure to meet with my students and communicate with them on how I can make the tutoring sessions most helpful for them. Additionally, my lessons will be centred around active recall and exam practice in order to ensure firm and above secure knowledge of the subject I believe that understanding content and being able to apply it is an essential skill when it comes to exams, hence I would love to pass on this help and advice to anyone who needs it whilst teaching them using these many methods, in a space in which they feel free to ask questions, understand the content and gain the skills they need in order to do well in their GCSEs.
