About Justin
During my time in the classroom, I was always highly regarded as one of those teachers who truly cares about their students. Developing relationships with students is as, if not more, important than being good at what you're teaching. I present material at the level of the student. Just because they are in 8th grade doesn't mean they are at an 8th grade level. Much of my career included students with IELs, ILPs, and 504s which means I worked with students of all levels. You might be wondering why I left the classroom if I was as good as I say I am. To that, I can only say that the decision to leave was tough. Ultimately, it boiled down to my mental health. I miss the students but I don't miss the politics of school systems.

I'm all about I Do-We Do-You Do. I break down complicated math topics to their most basic components so that whatever you're working on is much easier to understand. My sweet spot is Algebra. In my teaching career, I mostly taught 6th and 7th grade students though I have taught classes up to a college level. I'll be happy to cater my lessons toward what you and your student need. I'm also happy to work on homework support and test review. Whether your student is having trouble with fundamental skills or more advanced techniques, I'm here to help!
