About Ashley
My name is Ashley Larrea, and I am a proud Latina with South American roots. Though my parents are from South America, I was born and raised in the United States. I graduated from Smoky Hill High School in Colorado in 2024. Being fluent in both Spanish and English, I grew up learning Spanish from my parents and English from kindergarten onward. I am fully dedicated to working with you and helping you become a more confident and skilled speaker of the language you're learning.

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m an 18-year-old who is fluent in both English and Spanish, and I’m passionate about helping students with their language learning journey. I believe that mastering vocabulary is key to learning any language, and one of my main teaching methods is to help students practice vocabulary by using new words in sentences. This helps ensure that they not only understand the definition but can also use the word in context. A typical lesson plan with me involves reviewing new vocabulary words and then practicing them in sentences. I might also use a word bank, where students select the appropriate word to complete a sentence. We’ll also focus on conversation practice in both languages, covering greetings, responses, and vocabulary used in everyday situations.
