About Dia
I’m a senior in high school with a strong background in math, currently taking Calculus 3. I’ve been tutoring students for the past four years, working with learners from elementary school through high school in a variety of math subjects.
I enjoy helping students build confidence in math by making concepts easier to understand and less intimidating. I know that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain problems in multiple ways until it “clicks.”
Over time, I’ve learned that most students don’t struggle because they “can’t do math,” but because they were missing foundational steps or weren’t shown the material in a clear way. My goal is to fix those gaps and help students feel more capable and independent.
Outside of tutoring, I’m focused on my own academics and enjoy subjects that involve problem-solving and logical thinking. I bring that same patient and structured approach into every session.

My lessons are structured, patient, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I start by identifying where a student is struggling and then build a step-by-step plan to strengthen their understanding from the ground up. I focus on helping students not just get the right answers, but actually understand the concepts so they can become more confident and independent.
During sessions, I typically:
* Review homework or recent class material
* Break down difficult topics into simpler steps
* Work through practice problems together
* Reinforce key strategies for tests and quizzes
I’ve been tutoring math for 4 years, working with students from elementary school through high school in subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and calculus. I’m currently a senior taking Calculus 3, so I also have strong experience with higher-level math.
My goal is to make math feel less stressful and more logical by helping students build a strong foundation and develop problem-solving skills they can use long-term.
