About Madeleine
I am currently in college and will be graduating soon. I am studying Communication Disorders and Music, aiming to combine the two for research and application purposes. I play several other instruments, including the violin and guitar. Music and helping people is my passion and I am thankful to combine the two in offering private lessons in piano. I have been working for a local music store teaching lessons for the past 5 years and am currently still teaching there.

My teaching method is individualized, focusing on the learning styles of each student. I aim to incorporate different modes of learning that work best for the student. I am flexible with using different curriculum, however I have a few that I tend to recommend. I emphasize the importance of technique and theory, then apply these skills to a couple pieces that will be worked on and discussed over time.
