About Wilma
I offer structured and supportive online tutoring for Grades 8–12, with a strong emphasis on exam preparation, concept mastery, and effective study skills. Lessons are carefully planned to address each learner’s specific needs, strengthen foundational understanding, and build confidence over time.
My extensive classroom and marking experience enables me to prepare learners thoroughly for tests, assignments, and formal examinations, with clear guidance on question interpretation, problem-solving strategies, and exam techniques. This ensures learners not only understand the content, but also know how to apply it successfully under assessment conditions.

I encourage learners to become the best they can be, and this belief has always been the driving force behind my teaching. I truly believe that every learner has potential, regardless of their current level or past experiences with mathematics.
My lessons are designed to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where learners feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. I place a strong emphasis on building deep understanding, developing problem-solving skills, and achieving steady, realistic progress over time — particularly for learners who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure in maths. Through patience, clear explanations, and consistent guidance, I help learners regain confidence and take ownership of their learning.
