About Gauri
My interest in spreadsheet software began when I discovered how digital tools can transform raw data into meaningful information. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Technology, where I studied data management systems and business applications. During my 5 years of teaching, I have helped many learners gain practical Excel skills.
I believe technology learning should focus on clear explanation and hands-on practice. My teaching style encourages students to explore Excel features while solving real-world tasks. I guide learners patiently so they feel comfortable experimenting with formulas and tools.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new productivity software and data management methods. These activities allow me to keep my lessons updated and practical. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see students develop confidence in handling information efficiently.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students understand how spreadsheets can organize information and simplify calculations. At the beginning, learners explore the structure of worksheets, including rows, columns, and cell references. I guide students in entering data clearly and formatting tables so information becomes easy to read. Through basic exercises, students learn to use simple formulas for calculations such as totals, averages, and percentages.
As students become comfortable with these fundamentals, lessons introduce tools that improve productivity. We explore sorting and filtering methods that help students manage larger data sets efficiently. I also teach how to use conditional formatting and charts to display information visually. These activities help learners understand how numbers can be analyzed and presented clearly.
My goal is to help students develop confidence using Excel in academic and professional environments. Lessons encourage organized thinking and attention to detail. Over time students gain the ability to build structured spreadsheets and analyze information independently. Excel becomes a practical skill that supports decision-making and effective data management.
