Born and raised in South London to proud Filipino parents, I’m a performance training specialist working with some of the best athletes in Europe and Asia. My approach is holistic, built around three pillars: health, fitness and performance.
What makes my method different
Most trainers give you exercises. I give you reasons. Every movement in the FUNCTIONALL PERFORMANCE method connects directly to something you do in your sport. For a basketball player, that means a faster first step, a higher vertical, absorbing contact without losing balance, and stopping and changing direction with control.
The best athletes are the most complete: physically strong, sharp decision-makers, and technically skilled. I train all three, so what you build in the gym actually shows up on the court, pitch or track.
Ever walked into a gym with no idea where to start? Or trained hard for months and seen little difference in your game? I’ve been there, and I’ve built this method around everything I wish I’d known back then.
What a session looks like (60 mins)
Check-in (5 mins): How you’re feeling, recovery, sleep, and any niggles, so the session fits you on the day.
Movement prep (10 mins): A dynamic warm-up targeting mobility and activation specific to your sport and goals.
S&C Session Main lifts & Accessory Work (45 mins): Jumps, sprints, acceleration and change-of-direction work while you’re fresh. Purposeful lifts that build a robust, injury-resistant body, always explained in terms of why they matter for your sport.
On-Court Skill Development (45 mins):
A blend of block practice and variability. Proven methods to build confidence, competence to enhance skills whether shooting, ball handling, defence and more.
Every session is tailored to your level, sport and goals, and progresses as you do.
