About Jollyyjayy
When teaching, I prefer active learning so will ask a lot of questions in order to synthesise knowledge. Alongside this my explanations are clear and can cater to students of all abilities. I have taught in secondary education for a year and 4 months, prior to this I also did my teacher training for a year. This means I have a wide range of teaching techniques up my sleeve in order to help my students overcome any barriers to learning, some of which include visual techniques and scaffolded explanations. Once learning has been achieved my students are then consistently stretched and challenged ensuring that their skillset and knowledge is further improved whilst also refining it along the way. I am also a patient and empathetic individual who genuinely enjoys teaching.
