As a Python tutor, my approach will be centered around helping my students understand the fundamental concepts and principles of the language, rather than just teaching them how to complete specific tasks. My goal is to empower my students to think critically and solve problems on their own, rather than just memorizing syntax.
To achieve this, I'll use a combination of hands-on exercises and interactive lectures to ensure that my students are actively engaged in the learning process. I like to start by introducing key concepts and demonstrating how they can be applied in real-world scenarios, and then provide opportunities for my students to apply what they have learned through coding challenges and projects. I'll also make sure to provide plenty of individualized feedback and support to ensure that my students are on track and able to progress at their own pace.
In terms of a typical lesson plan, it will depend on the needs and goals of the student. However, in general, I like to begin each session with a brief review of the previous material, followed by an introduction to new concepts and hands-on exercises to solidify understanding.
