About Laura
I am keen to tutor students in scientific/mathematical areas as having struggled with these subjects at times in school, I feel confident to tailor my teaching in ways understandable and accessible to individuals. After graduating from my BSc (Hons) in July 2017 from St. George's Medical school, I have a particular interest in tutoring Chemistry (to AS level standard) or any other sciences/maths for GCSE students. This October I will begin studying Graduate Medicine at Imperial College London and so will be able to advise any hopeful medics of the application process. I haven't always been a straight A student but having attained a place at this prestigious university on such a competitive course compels me to show other students what can become their reality through hard work and perseverance!

Throughout school and university, I find that practice questions are the most useful to consolidate knowledge, so my lessons will combine theory and application. I'm very friendly and non-judgemental as I've gone through hardships myself in education so I aim to make lessons as enjoyable as possible. I believe the best way to succeed is to persevere so if you're looking for someone to push you as well as guide you, look no further!
