About Finn
I've just finished my first year of studying Plant Biology at the University of Nottingham and really enjoy helping young people get the same level of enjoyment from accademia as I do!
I have lots of experience working with and tutoring kids and am currently a volunteer tutor for an organisation called "IntoUniversity" where I tutor teenagers from dissadvantaged backgrounds. In GCSE's I got 9's in both maths and biology and I went on to study both Biology and Maths at sixth form (loving both!) . While I ultimately deceided to go down the Biology route I do miss the satasfaction of finally understanding a hard topic in maths and would love the oppotunity to help others understand this feeling!

I'm offering online tutoring in KS2, KS3 and GCSE maths and biology. Timings of tutoring sessions can be arranged to suit your childs avaliability.
I believe the most important thing when starting tutoring is to identify the students areas of weakness within the subject and create a realistic plan of action to work on these. This includes discussing with the student the way in which they best learn and agnowlaging that getting where they want to be may take time but is absulutely doable! Through tutoring I can not only increase confidence and ability in a subject area but also prodide future skills and revision techniques so eventually the student will find it easier to learn and stay on top of their work!
