About Tashianna
My love for math started at a young age. I would be the first to raise my hand in class and loved furthering my understanding by asking questions. This math confidence helped me excel in math and gave me the skill set to help others excel in math too. My tutoring days started when I was in high school, this love for helping others led me to become a math teacher, and that pushed me to be the math consultant for summer school. I have spent many years helping students with math, and I always find it crucial to build math confidence and fill in any gaps. I am known for making math fun, I have always loved the subject and that comes through when I teach. Our lessons will be a mix of what you need to succeed and what you want to ensure the experience is enjoyable. I will make sure you are meeting your curriculum expectations whilst filling in any gaps I see in your math foundation. Most of my experience is in the junior and intermediate grades so I will be tutoring Grades 5-10 to start. This will change in the upcoming months.
