About Patrick
Hi, I'm Patrick, a third-year Science and Education student at the University of Adelaide with a genuine passion for biology and helping others succeed.
I achieved a 95.95 ATAR in my final year of school, excelling in Biology and Chemistry, and I have carried that love of science into my university studies. Now three years into a five-year double degree, I bring both strong subject knowledge and a developing foundation in education theory to every tutoring session. I understand the pressures of Year 11 and 12 firsthand, and I am committed to helping students navigate SACE Biology with confidence.
Over the course of tutoring more than 40 students, I have built a reputation for being friendly, patient and calm under pressure. I believe that a relaxed and supportive environment is just as important as good content knowledge when it comes to helping students learn and grow.
Outside of my studies, I am a former national-level competitive swimmer and currently train in taekwondo. I also enjoy the gym, learning guitar, and unwinding with video games. I find that having varied interests outside of academia helps me connect with students of all kinds and keeps me grounded and energized as a tutor.

Hi, I'm Patrick, a current Science and Education student at university in Adelaide with a 95.95 ATAR, passionate about helping Year 11 and 12 students thrive in SACE Biology.
Having tutored over 40 students, I've seen firsthand what makes the difference at this level. My students have achieved some fantastic results, including jumps from D to B-, C to A, and B- to A. This kind of progress comes from targeted, consistent work and a teaching approach that is genuinely built around each individual student.
My lessons are one hour long and fully tailored to each student's needs. Whether your child is struggling with core concepts, working to push their grade to the next level, or preparing for upcoming exams, I adapt my approach to meet them where they are. I use clear visual aids and diagrams to bring complex biological concepts to life, and I place a strong emphasis on exam technique and past paper practice so students feel confident and well prepared when it counts.
My lessons are ideal for Year 11 and 12 SACE Biology students across South Australia, delivered conveniently online so there's no travel required.

Patrick makes a great teacher because he is patient, and understanding with his students. When he tutored me, I didn't understand how fractions worked, but he helped me figure out where I was going wrong, and thought of a way to explain it so I can understand. Overall, a great recommendation.
