• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  Maths and science have been my favourite subjects ever since I can remember. The subjects relate to everyday life, so I found understanding them easy when I connected them to things I already knew. As I learned more, I realized I could solve complex problems by breaking them down and using basic concepts. This newly gained perspective of solving problems using fundamental knowledge encouraged me to seek more knowledge and challenge myself to solve more problems.
  
  My favourite thing about science, especially Maths and Physics, is that there are many ways to solve a problem, and you can use any one of them as long as you don't violate a law.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I love maths and science because they are the gateways to solving problems and advancing science and technology, which we take for granted in this era. From the electricity that powers our houses to our computers and cities to artificial intelligence that is revolutionizing the way we do things, all of it comes down to the fundamentals of maths and science. I find that empowering and fascinating.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I love tutoring because it enables me to help students in their journey. Today's students are tomorrow's leaders, service providers, problem solvers, and inventors of breakthrough technologies. They just need a little help to bridge their knowledge gap to achieve their potential, and I love being part of that.
  
  I am a Superprof because my priority is the student, and my lessons are personalized. First, I work with the student to understand their background, challenges and prepare a working schedule. I then preplan for each lesson and continual evaluate their progress.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Lucky to say, I've had and continue to have amazing teachers and role models. I proactively take note of characteristics that make them inspirational and work to grow in those areas. I'm forever grateful for the amazing people that taught me in classrooms and outside, and I wish them the very best.

• What are your keys to success?

  Sincerity. Sincere dedication to my work, the value I provide, and my character as a person.
  Tutoring-wise, my primary keys to success are knowing my material and understanding my students. By extension, my teaching experience and training are my arsenal.
