“I am a friend first, a tutor second, and a student last”
That quote affirms my belief that I am but an individual who, while guiding and teaching you English, am also an individual who is learning different things in different ways from different people. As a college student (in the UK) myself, I chose to try and dare to be a tutor online solely for the reason of learning; My knowledge in writing and English can’t be stuck in my head, yes, I might have won past essay writing and oral reading competitions, it does not stop there, and thus, I am offering what I know to people across the world in as simple as I can. I get that English or writing essays can sometimes make us scratch our heads, but I am here to make sure learning how to write and know English can be easy AND FUN!
I may be a student now, but as a tutor, I’m like a friend that wants nothing but the best for a colleague, which means, learning with me is learning while failing but finishing while succeeding.

My lessons are designed to make English learning both effective and enjoyable through interactive and proven methods. I use a mix of guided reading, sentence and paragraph building, essay mapping, and story prompts to help students strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills.
For reading, I apply techniques like annotation practice and context-based questioning, which train students to understand tone, meaning, and themes more deeply. In writing, I teach PEEL and TEEL paragraph structures, brainstorming with outlines, and editing exercises that build accuracy and flow. Creative writing sessions include vocabulary challenges, descriptive writing drills, and imagination exercises to bring out each student’s unique voice.
Each lesson lasts 30 to 90 minutes, depending on your needs. I maintain a structured yet friendly approach — guiding students closely while allowing room for self-expression and confidence-building.
I’m a Media Production student with GCSE grades 5 in English Literature and 4 in English Language. I may be starting my tutoring journey, but my background in writing competitions and journalism has equipped me with a strong grasp of language and creativity.
My lessons are best suited for students aged 13–18 and foreign learners who want to improve English for academics, exams, or everyday communication.
