About Katherine
Hi, I’m a passionate STEM tutor with over 5 years of private tutoring experience, supporting secondary school and sixth form students to achieve top grades and long-term academic confidence.
I hold a First-Class Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield and achieved straight A*s at A-Level.
Alongside tutoring, I work professionally as a Solutions Engineer at a major technology company. This means I don’t just teach theory — I help students understand how their subjects apply to the real world.

My lessons follow a structured three-phase methodology designed to build deep understanding, real-world competence, and elite exam performance.

3. Strategic Exam Execution (Test Performance)
Finally, we refine exam technique. I teach students how to decode mark schemes, recognise question patterns used by exam boards, manage time effectively, and structure high-mark answers. The focus is not just practice — but understanding how to extract maximum marks consistently.
