About Fiona
My name is Fiona Matisse and I come from a long line of Artists and Art Educators. My mom even named me after her favorite artist, Henri Matisse! Art is my favorite thing in the whole world. I use it as a coping mechanism, I make it to understand the world in different ways, and I do it to have fun! I just think art is the best, and my mission in life is to share it with others. My full-time job is teaching art at a high school, and during the summer I like to make art of my own! I love working with all age ranges and I really want to help you discover your own style and help you learn what you are interested in.

I have an extensive background in art and art processes including printmaking, painting, watercolor, gouache, drawing, acrylic, sculpture, character design, illustration, Cyanotypes, and many more mediums!
