About Joelle
I am currently a senior in high school who has been a dual enrollment student at Florida International University (FIU) for 3 years. During my dual enrollment experience at FIU, I have completed courses ranging from College Algebra to Calculus 2. Mastery of these courses helped me earn a 720 on the Math section of the June 2022 SAT for an overall score of 1430 (98th percentile). I have also helped my college classmates better understand higher level math concepts. I tutor algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. When it comes to learning, I believe that all students should have an abundance of resources that will increase their chance of success in their courses.

Having a hard time understanding math concepts? Don’t worry because I am here to help. I make lessons that are tailored to what students are learning in their classes so they can start improving quickly. My lessons include a breakdown of the concept where I teach the student terminology and the process needed to solve certain problems. These lessons also include practice time where the student can apply the skills they just learned. My lessons also give the student the freedom to ask me any questions they may have about any aspects of a problem or concept.
