About James
My name is James DePina. I am a high school graduate, ending with a 3.56 GPA. I became a Carpenter, who used math daily. In high school math was difficult, but still manged to get A's every year in the subject. I am here to help make math easier and more fun to students. I am an easy teacher to have, I like to have fun while teaching, therefore sessions with me will never be boring. I am here for you!

I am an example teacher. Meaning I will show you how to do the problem, then have you repeat the process. I do not show you videos, unless requested. I will use problems and techniques from your classroom, so you are not confused with different methods.
One lesson is 1hr long, unless requested longer. To start every session I will have you tell me the type of problems you are working on in the classroom. I will then use this and create problems based on classroom assignments. Following this, I will show you how to do a couple of them, then proceed to have you try. If you need help I will be here. Once completed I will ask what the hardest part of the problem was. With that I will take the hardest part and simplify it. Next step is to do homework. I will help you with all homework assignments.
These lessons are for K-10 math. I do not do Calculus, or trigonometry. My specialty is Algebra and Geometry.
I am patient, and I am not fast paced. Which is good so you can sink all the information in. If needed I will also extend the lesson (20 min max) without charge.
