About Laryssa
I am a college freshman attending the University of Hartford and planning to major in Nursing. I plan to specialize in pediatrics because I like working with kids and teens. I want to tutor to make a difference in kids' lives. During school, I have excelled in my math and science classes receiving nominations for awards from my teachers. My brother didn't do as well in school as I have, so I had to find a way to tutor him while my parents were at work. I believe every student needs a chance, which is what I'm here for.

I believe when it comes to describing teaching methods to someone, it's essential to consider their level of familiarity with education and instructional techniques.
- There are many different ways to learn from someone. If you learn better hands-on, I will try to find some activities that suit your needs. If you are an auditory learner, I will explain the material as best as possible.
- My typical lesson plan is to adjust to what you need. If you need more help on one subject than the other, then we will focus on that subject.
- What sets me apart from other tutors is that I can adapt my responses and explanations to suit your learning style and level of understanding. Whether you prefer a detailed explanation or a simplified summary, I can tailor my approach to meet your needs.
