I am quick to adapt to individual learning styles and ask questions and experiment to see what helps most. I am invested in not just teaching for the purpose of regurgitation in the classroom but for genuine understanding. I am passionate that every student has the ability to learn and deserves the effort from the adults in their life to make sure knowledge is easily accessible to them.

I took advanced math and English classes my whole schooling career and got straight A's. I love teaching people math and I often get through to people that don't understand from how their teacher shows them. I've previously worked in childcare and am very patient. I am also more than willing to work with students with learning disabilities or other disabilities that may impact their learning outcomes (deaf/hoh, vision impaired, etc). I am conversational in ASL and have firsthand experience with children with autism.
