About Alice
Hi! My name is Alice, and I’m a high school junior with experience working with kids in educational environments. I’ve worked as an assistant helper at language schools and summer camps, where I gained experience supporting students, explaining activities, and creating a positive learning environment.
I work well with kids and understand that everyone learns differently. I’m patient, approachable, and happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense. Since I’m also a student, I can relate to younger students and make learning feel less intimidating and more comfortable.
I can help students with the Ontario curriculum up to Grade 10, including topics such as algebra, quadratics, and trigonometry. Whether your child needs help understanding a difficult topic, completing practice questions, or preparing for a test, I’d be happy to help them build confidence and improve their math skills!

During my lessons, I’ll first get to know the student’s current level and identify the topics they’re struggling with. We’ll then work through concepts step-by-step, using examples and practice questions to make sure they understand the material rather than simply memorizing answers.
Lessons can be tailored to what the student needs most, whether that’s reviewing class material, working through homework, preparing for a test, or strengthening specific skills in algebra, quadratics, trigonometry, and other Grade 10 Ontario math topics.
After each lesson, I’ll make sure the student understands what we covered and feels comfortable working through similar questions independently. I can also suggest practice questions or areas to review before the next session, helping students gradually build confidence and become more independent in math.
