About Ilene
Working through complex arithmetic and number sense problems is something I have done for 6 years now. These concepts often require a steady hand when helping students with algebra, geometry, and calculus during SAT or ACT prep. My background involves navigating competition math and word problems to build conceptual learning for various learners. I find that problem-solving strategies are often the missing piece for students, and I enjoy seeing that light bulb moment happen, even if the progress is sometimes gradual.

"Staring at a blank page during an algebra exam is a frustrating experience for most people. Getting past that initial block requires a solid grasp of fundamental math rules.
My teaching method leans heavily on the structure I gained during my Diploma in BIM and Construction. Hard work is needed. We utilize a specific homework module assigned with every single lesson to reinforce these core ideas."
