About Alara
As a certified teacher with 14+ years of teaching and tutoring experience in math, I've been on a mission to make numbers more accessible, practical, and fun! My teaching journey has taken me through both traditional and project-based schools, giving me a well-rounded approach to education. I understand the importance of developing a positive math mindset, especially for the student who does not yet identify as "a math person." I believe that the key to math success is finding the balance between mastering the basics, applying math in real-world settings, and developing the right attitude around math. I'm all about patience and empowerment. And I truly believe that every student can reach their goals!
