About Saikrishna
I became a teacher because of my high school maths and science teacher’s impact on my life. Math and science doesn’t come naturally to me, but they took the time not only to explain the material in a way that made sense to me but also helped me understand that every form of intelligence is equally valuable. There’s no job more important than teaching the future leaders of our world the information they need to know, but more importantly, showing them their worth, their potential, and their ability to form their own opinions by thinking critically and observing the world around them.I hope that I can create a classroom that encourages my students to have fun while learning the same way that they were able to...

Teaching is not a question of what is in the teacher's mind but what is in the student's mind and how that transfer occurs. I have learned that no single method works for every student so I have formed small groups that share the same methods of learning and created a combination of reading, discussing, writing, and student teaching students that gets a lesson completed. Sharing short papers from each student in a group seems to work the best as each can concur with others that they have the basic concepts and are using them to explore other new ideas. Outside readings in journals shared in writing short descriptions of the idea content, then discussed in small groups of commonly interested students has worked the best for successfully passing required examinations...
