About Ashwin
My name is Ashwin! I am a 16 year old senior in high school that lives in Bergen County, New Jersey. I am very passionate about working with kids and enjoy it very much. My goal is to make learning fun while helping students to remember and retain information. I want to get to know my students more to help build a better relationship and learn what interests they have and what and how they like to learn. I am also very flexible and open to feedback.

My name is Ashwin. I am a current high school senior in Upper Saddle River, NJ and have two prior years of middle school tutoring experience. I have always been gifted in mathematics from a young age, competing in regional, state, and national level competitions in middle school. My highest level of mathematics I have taken is my dual enrollment AP Calculus BC course which I just finished with an exceptional grade. I am available to tutor 4th to 7th grade students in middle school mathematics including arithmetic, geometry, and algebra I and II. A typical lesson would last 30 minutes to 90 minutes with flexible timings. What sets me apart is my enthusiasm that helps me be personable and passionate about working with kids. My goal is not only to help students learn, but help them remember information and what techniques to use to study in the future. I plan my lessons ahead of time and focus on what the student needs to work on and what is next in the course the student is enrolled in. I am able to review the lesson plan ahead of time and suggest homework if parents see fit.
