About Nihal
I know science can feel intimidating or frustrating when concepts don't click right away, and that's exactly why I'm here. My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable, supported, and never afraid to ask questions, even ones that feel "silly." Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what works best for each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I show up prepared, patient, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. Having gone through this same material recently, I remember what it's like to struggle with a concept, and I use that understanding to explain things in ways that actually make sense, not just recite textbook definitions.
More than anything, I want students to leave each session feeling more confident, not just about the material, but about their own ability to learn. Whether someone needs a little extra support to keep up or wants to build a stronger foundation in science, I'm committed to helping them get there, one step at a time, with encouragement along the way.

Hi, I'm Nihal! I'm a high school senior with a strong passion for biology and the sciences, planning to pursue a biology major in college. I love helping younger students build a solid foundation in science and discover how fun and fascinating it can be.
My teaching method: I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. Instead of just memorizing facts, I encourage students to understand the "why" behind scientific ideas through real-world examples, analogies, and interactive discussion. I adjust my approach based on how each student learns best — whether that's visual aids, hands-on activities, or step-by-step explanations.
A typical lesson: We start by reviewing what the student is currently working on in class or areas they're struggling with. I explain the core concept using simple language and examples, then work through practice problems together. Toward the end of the lesson, I like to recap what we covered and give the student a chance to ask questions or try a problem on their own so I can check their understanding.
What sets me apart: As someone who recently went through — and excelled in — the same science curriculum, I understand exactly what concepts tend to trip students up and how they're taught in today's classrooms. I bring patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine excitement for science to every lesson, making learning feel approachable rather than intimidating.
