About Josie
I am a high school senior, who has taken 9 honors courses and 4 college classes. I enjoy singing, dancing, and literature. I loved Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I also loved the book Pride and Prejudice however, I loved the movie more. I am a big movie fan, my favorite movie is Dave. Since I am a student, I understand the current school culture and know what students are learning. Furthermore, since I am so young, I believe that factor can help me build connections with a fellow student. I have tutored before and it was a very fulfilling process for me. I hope I can continue inspiring young minds in the future.

My method of teaching can be described in one word, fun. I think the reason most students struggle in class is because they are not taught in exciting ways, or ways that cater to their learning needs. Many kids are either visual or auditory learners, so I do my best to cater to that need. I have taken two college course English classes and have passed both with an A. I do best with argumentative writing, however I can help with research papers, personal narrative, or academic papers. I can also help with spelling and the foundations of writing. My lessons are good for elementary or middle schoolers.
