About Elisa
As a senior in high school, I am in my home stretch of completing a big chapter in my life and am excited to take my next step towards my future career. I intend to study Public Health and Cognitive Sciences on a Pre-Medical track in college. Math is incredibly important in a myriad of majors including the path that I am taking, which is why I am so passionate about helping others build their own math skills. I teach all levels of math from middle school math to high school algebra and above, specializing in especially difficult courses including Calculus AB and BC. As a tutor, I get to know you during our first meeting and take note of the concepts you struggle with, before developing a comprehensive list of tasks to complete in order to build foundational math skills. From there, I have lesson plans developed to go over concepts you have learned in class and help you gain a better understanding before any potential quizzes or exams. We also go over homework and work through it together!
