About Lavindu
I have taken numerous AP classes, like AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Computer Science A. I have also taken some college computer science classes at Stanford's summer session and the Lake Washington Institute of Technology. I began playing chess from a very early age so that's where I got my passion for math and computer science. A fun fact about me is that I know 10 programming languages :)

First, I will ask the student if they know anything about what I'm about to teach them. After that, I will explain the importance of what I'm about to teach them. Then, I will teach them the lesson in a step by step approach. I will ask questions along the way so I can ensure my student knows what they are doing. At the very end, I will have the student do some problems in front of me. Depending on the student's availability, I might give some problems to do after the lesson as homework. This approach will guarantee success in understanding a certain concept.
