About Esther
I’m a high school senior who enjoys helping students discover that math and STEM can be manageable and bring empowerment in the subject with the right support. With over three years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students from elementary school through 12th grade. Because I’ve recently studied many of the topics I teach, I can explain them in a relatable way and understand where students may get stuck or have difficulty processing the information. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, while creating a welcoming space where they can ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence.

I teach math to elementary, middle, and high school students, adapting each lesson to their age, level, goals, and learning style. With more than three years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students with diverse needs and use clear explanations, worked examples, practice problems, and encouraging feedback to help concepts make sense.
A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in and review of what the student already knows. We then focus on a topic or challenge from class, break it into manageable steps, and work through examples together. Students then try similar problems independently so I can spot gaps, answer questions, and adjust the pace. We finish by reviewing key ideas and choosing a next step.
My goal is to make math feel approachable while helping students build both skills and confidence. Essentially, I hope to aid them to reach the potential they already have. I welcome learners who need extra support, want to strengthen their foundations, or are ready for the next step.
