About Therese
I am a high school student. I am the owner and founder of a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for neurodivergent teens and young adults to gain comfort in social settings. I also am taking classes at a community college near me, to get an associates degree before i graduate high school.

Being fresh out of middle school, I have a good understanding of these subjects and how they are taught. I have peer tutored in middle school, and i currently peer tutor at my school. I am highly involved in my school’s special education program. I have tutored many neurodivergent students, and i understand the differences and challenges in education for people with a learning disability.
I teach on a step by step basis, breaking the subjects down into small parts. I also use an engaging method. I see my job not as a lecturer, but as a tool for students to find how they study. I focus more on method, and not individual problems.
Overall, I hope to help students build good study habits and find what works for them.
