About Daisy
I am a student in high school and have always been in the more advanced math classes. I have a GPA of 4.5 and scored high on the SAT and ACT. I enjoy other hobbies like art, photography and editing, and writing. Throughout elementary school, I have had a passion for math and always learning more, even though like many, it can be both confusing and annoying to learn. Sometimes we find ourselves asking "why do I have to know this?" or "what is the point?" when we are struggling with learning something. I, like many, have found math hard in the past and wanted to have someone I could work through it with without frustration. I have tutored both younger kids and freshmen before. I want to help others not feel and continue to feel completely lost, but instead, look at a problem and approach it calmly and assured that they can do it.

I work with any level from the complete basics of math to the complexities of geometry and algebra to teach and help students both learn and understand confusing material. As a student, I find connecting with other students easy, and often vice versa. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and enjoy learning. Whether you need a topic, like long division or dividing fractions taught to you, or you need extra help before a test, I can help! I will explain the concept in depth and how it may relate to other concepts, we will do warm-up practice problems, we will explore new techniques and concepts and practice them, and we will play games involving the lesson! Everyone learns at their own pace, and math can seem hard when first learning it.
