About Cook
I'm currently in high school enrolled as a French Immersion student. Therefore, I'm highly relatable! I've also maintained an 80%-95% average in my French Language Arts courses. My goal is to create a stress-free environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, because that's how you actually learn! And because I'm bilingual, I offer tutoring that helps close any confusion between the French and English language, making complex vocab or grammar rules easier to take in.

Who I teach: Elementary and middle school students (PreK-8) looking for some extra help in French Immersion or FLA OR beginner learners.
My Methodology: I use an interactive approach that focuses on building confidence through conversation, songs/music and relatable examples.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- Warm-Up: Quick 5-minute casual check-in talking about how their life's been going entirely in French.
- School Support: Helping with current homework, projects or upcoming tests. Along with reviewing past tests.
- Skill Building: Targeted grammar games or vocab exercises.
- Wrap-up: A fun speaking activity to improve natural fluency.
What Sets Me Apart: As a high school Immersion student, I am still "in the thick of it." I know the specific vocabulary and current curriculum your child is learning right now, and I can share the study hacks that actually work for me.
