About Annaliesse
I am a high school STEM student with a 4.0 average gpa that has a passion for mathematics and its application in other subjects such as chemistry. I‘ve always been more than happy to help my own peers in understanding the subject as it is being taught and have since wanted to expand that same teaching to learners of all ages. For me, I prioritize patience and understanding, no one student has too slow or too difficult of a learning style that I won’t give it my all to work with!
Teaching has always been more to me than just explaining a topic, it’s an opportunity to share a connection with the learner and encourage finding their own love and passion for a subject.
Personal interests: I am a robotics competitor for nearly 5 years (have competed at the international level 3x), have competed in English state competitions, and have 2 dogs and 1 cat :)

Math and chemistry are subjects my own classmates often run into difficulty with due to a lack of understanding or incorrect class pacing. For this reason, I wanted to take my own interest and skill of both subjects and create lessons that are personalized to the students own learning pace and one-on-one detailed explanations accommodating to the student’s areas of struggle.
I prioritize the students own learning method and will work to incorporate what previous knowledge the student already has. I always encourage asking as many questions as needed and I will work through problems step-by-step with detailed commentary and give sample problems for the student to work through.
