As a high school freshman, I’m in a unique "sweet spot" for coaching and tutoring. I’m not some distant adult who forgot what it’s like to struggle with a backhand or a geometry proof; I’m right there in the thick of it with a fresh perspective. For tennis and squash, I have the literal energy to chase down every ball and the recent memory of the exact drills that helped me sharpen my own game. When it comes to French and math, I speak the same "language" as my students. I know which concepts are actually tricky and how to explain them without sounding like a dry textbook. Because I’m closer in age to younger students, I can build a level of trust and relatability that makes learning feel less like a chore and more like catching up with a mentor who actually gets it.
