About Laoise
Hi, my name is Laoise Medley. I’m a 21-year-old student from Galway City, currently in my second year studying Pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin — a course that allows me to work with math regularly. I’ve always had a passion for math and take real pride in helping others build their confidence and improve their grades.
Throughout school, I consistently excelled in the subject, achieving top scores, an A in my Junior Cert, and H1 in Leaving Certificate Math. As a tutor, I’m patient, clear, and dedicated to tailoring my approach to each student’s needs, whether that means breaking down tricky concepts or pushing for top grades.
My goal is to help every student reach their full potential and feel genuinely confident in their abilities. If you’re looking for a committed and supportive math tutor who understands how to succeed in exams, I’d love to help.

Each lesson lasts about an hour, giving students plenty of time to really dive into topics and ask questions. I tailor every session to suit each student’s individual strengths and areas they’d like to improve, helping build both understanding and confidence. To support progress between lessons, I provide homework—either digitally or through worksheets—so students can stay consistent and strengthen key skills.
I’ve always had a real passion for maths. I achieved a H1 in Leaving Certificate Mathematics and am currently studying Pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin, where I work with mathematical concepts regularly. This helps keep my skills fresh and allows me to bring modern techniques and problem-solving approaches into my tutoring.
I offer both online and in-person lessons. In-person sessions include a small €5 travel fee, while online lessons are flexible and available to students nationwide.
My aim is to make maths less stressful and more enjoyable, while helping every student grow in confidence, reach their potential, and achieve great results.
