About Isabel
I’m a friendly and patient tutor based in Edinburgh, currently in school myself and passionate about helping others learn, especially when it comes to maths. It’s always been one of my favourite subjects, but I know that not everyone feels the same. That’s why I focus on making things as simple and clear as possible, helping my students build confidence step by step. I achieved all A1's in my National 5's and I really want to help others achieve that as well. Whether you’re just needing a bit of extra support or aiming to boost your grades, I’d love to help you get there. I teach Maths, English, Business, Biology, Chemistry and Economics at a National 5 level and below.

I offer lessons between 30 minutes and 2 hours, either in person or online, for students aged 15 and under. Every student is different, so I start by giving a quick test to identify their strengths and areas to improve. From there, I create a personalised plan to help them get the most out of our sessions. Not only this, but I also have resources that I used in my National 5's available to my students such as my notes, flashcards, textbooks and more. I’ve been tutoring students aged 12 and under for 2 years, and those aged 13–15 for around a year and a half. I’m proud to say that all of my National 5 students have improved significantly; many went from predicted C grades to achieving an A.
