About Bubbletea
Since young, Angie has had a burning passion for classical music, and started her piano lessons at the age of 4. Angie took up Music Elective Programme (MEP) since Year 1 in Dunman High School. In Year 3, they were streamed into the DHP and O level classes and Angie was offered to join the DHP programme. She took up the six year Music Elective Programme til 2015 and has performed in many recitals and school concerts in this course.
Angie has had the chance to compose a few pieces for various instruments as well. She was selected to go on an MEP trip to Germany and Austria in June 2013. During this trip conducted by Prof Foch of ICoM in Hamburg at the International College of Music, Angie was also one of the few students to selected to perform in the masterclass.
Angie also took part in Asia Music Competition, and got into the Grand Finals which was held at National Taiwan Normal University Taipei and won Bronze. It was an eye opener for her, listening to the best players from around Asia. It instilled the importance of commitment and determination in her and continually inspires her to step out of her comfort zone. While there are times where advancing seemed tough, she learnt to pace herself and strengthen her resolve and eventually did it as a subject at H3 level for her A level Examinations. Now, she has completed all her trinity examinations, ATCL, LTCL, as well as FTCL.

Typical length of a lesson is approximately 45 mins. I usually work with teens and adults. For children, i usually portray the music in a story form to better interest the child and for better expression of the music.
