About Lisa
I am a qualified teacher with 15+ years experience. I have worked in highly academic schools in the UK and moved to New York for a position at an international school. I have been teaching high school BIOLOGY for many years and now work as a full-time tutor. I have tutored students internationally in a range of BIOLOGY courses including, AP, International Baccalaureate, A-level and more. I have excellent references to show all my students improve significantly and teachers are always amazed at the change. I love what I do and I commit to supporting all my students throughout their course in all tests, exams, coursework.

My two key priorities are to have great resources that visually bring the subject to life, and that my explanations are clear and simple. I have been teaching and tutoring for many years so I know how to flow with the needs of the student. I am able to adapt my style to fit each and every lesson. Every student is different and requires support in different areas, as well as having different learning styles. I am confident that my lessons will be effective and engaging. I have great resources including slides, videos, animations, exam questions, model answers, examiner tips. Everything you could need to get the grade you are aiming for.

Lisa truly changed my love for biology! She gave me so much confidence and explained everything in such simple terms.
